Featured Artist
Jonathan Singer
(a.k.a. The Ansel Adams of Graffiti Photography)

For the past year Jonathan Singer, a dedicated medical practitioner and foot surgeon by day,
has graciously traded in his limited spare time for the passionate pursuit of photography. His cameras capture the
ever fading mural masterpieces that vibrantly adorn some of the darkest ghettos of New York City and Philedelphia.
Thanks to his unyielding, cross-cultural outreach into the graffiti community, Jonathan Singer continues to break
distrust among the graffiti purists by sharing his extraordinary photographic gift. Today, his quest to shoot and
preserve the very best spray can art is quickly gaining him acknowledgment and respect among graffiti aficionados
who have witnessed first hand the exact precision of his finished pieces. Without a doubt, anyone who lays eyes on
his work will agree that it stands as an unequivocal measure of the utmost reverence for the photographic art form.

The exhibit showcases several panoramic Spray Can Art photos by Jonathan Singer.

Sponsored in part by
The Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development, Thomas A. DeGise, County Executive,
and the Board of Chosen Freeholders

Jonathan Singer prefers to shoot with the Hasselblad H1D camera exclusively.
